Petrópolis's sister mountain town across the Serrana ridge. Dedo de Deus, Granja Comary, and the country houses Rio empties into on long weekends.

Teresópolis sits at 870 m on the back side of the Serra dos Órgãos — same Atlantic Forest escarpment as Petrópolis, accessed via the BR-116 instead of the BR-040.

Our Teresópolis book is country houses in Comary and Granja Florestal, farm-style estates around Vargem Grande, and the occasional in-town home near Várzea. Quieter and less developed than Petrópolis — closer to nature, further from the tourist circuit.
